Meeting Places

The Board of Directors usually meets at the Jameson Inn now. Manager Mark Fetner allows the Board to use the Inn’s conference room for the monthly board meetings. The whole facility is quite nice and really adds to the effectiveness of the meetings.  The Jameson Inn, an Association member in good standing, offers all kinds of amenities for those fortunate enough to enjoy a visit there,..even those taking advantage of the Inn’s $59 introductory rate. We'd also like to spread some good words about Out-Med, another one of the Association’s commercial members.  Managed by Ryan Huber, the organization leases their buildings to several of the businesses in our community, including Junction Lanes, many of the smaller businesses, and is about to announce the new restaurant to be located in the ex-Guthrie's building.  Out-Med also lets us meet in their conference room.  Thanks Ryan.  Thanks Out-Med.

Law Seminar: Diversity in the Community

Three Board members, along with 1400 other Community Association Board Members, Managers, etc., attended the 2007 Community Association Law Seminar given by Weissman, Nowack, Curry, and Wilco, P.C. at the Georgia International Conference Center again this year. As usual, the affair was well run, and very informative. Subjects included communications, covenant enforcement, collections, insurance, leasing, and diversity.

The meeting took place Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Georgia International Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
